Healthy School Standard was accredited against the national standard in

Partnerships

The Derwentside Partnership has a multi-agency health theme group, which
is also the health improvement group for the PCT.

There are two Sure Start partnerships in Derwentside, Sure Start Stanley
and Sure Start West Derwentside.

Improving access to and quality of health and social care services.
Strategies and partnerships
To date strategies for improving access to and quality of health and social
care services have been developed in relative isolation. However a new
Partnership Committee for health, social care and housing services for adults
has recently been formed. This aims to ensure that all vulnerable adults and
their carers receive the most effective and efficient support services that can
be provided for them.
