Macmillan Advice and Information Centre

 

Macmillan Cancer Relief will be holding information and advice sessions at Annfield Plain Library, every Thursday morning. The sessions are for people with cancer and/or their carers.

The number of long term unemployed has fallen from 19.3% in 2001 to 3.9% in 2005 and is significantly lower than the national rate of 13.9%

In the two years up to 2003/04 burglary had been reduced by 32%. The Home Office have set a further target for reduction of 10% by 2008
