APPENDIX 2
Statement of Principles for Membership of the Partnership
All Organisations or Bodies which nominate representatives to the Partnership will have regard to the following:
- Ensure that they regularly attend meetings of the Partnership and participate fully in the business of any thematic sub-partnership or working groups of which they are members.
- Aligning their performance management systems, aims and objectives, criteria and processes to the aims and objectives of the Partnership, where possible.
- Co-operate with such monitoring of their activities by the Partnership as will assist the Partnership in addressing its aims and terms of reference, where appropriate.
- Ensure that their representative(s) are at a senior level such that they are able to speak for the organisation or body and, where appropriate, commit the organisation to a defined course of action.
- Ensure that their representatives regularly attend meetings of the Partnership and participate fully in the business of any working groups of which they are members.
- In all dealings with or on behalf of the Partnership respect the values set out in this Constitution, and the DCEN-DP protocol.
- Speak on behalf of and commit to courses of actions.
In addition Community Network nominees will:
- Inform and consult fully with the Community Network on matters relating to the Partnership.
